    Hello all,

Happy Monday! Applications are currently open for a new NACHC learning collaborative: Building FQHC Capacity to Navigate FQHC Medicaid Reimbursement. The deadline to submit applications is on Monday, April 15, at 11:59pm ET. The target participants for this learning collaborative are FQHCs and FQHC look-alikes. Below is an overview of the learning collaborative:

Achieving adequate Medicaid reimbursement is critical to Federally Qualified Health Centers' (FQHC) financial and operational stability. The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) is hosting this learning collaborative to build capacity and awareness among FQHC leaders about the various federal and state policy gaps impacting reimbursement through the Medicaid Prospective Payment System (PPS) and/or other Alternative Payment Methodologies (APMs). NACHC hopes to convene FQHC Director-level staff overseeing key components of their FQHC's reimbursement system (e.g., health center finance, population health initiatives, care coordination, value-based contracts, denial management, etc.) to increase awareness of the policy challenges and administrative mechanisms impacting reimbursement, and identify the systemic barriers to FQHC reimbursement and strategize on how to overcome them.

Furthermore, this learning collaborative will highlight the innovative strategies FQHC leaders have leveraged to maximize reimbursement for their health center and identify advocacy opportunities/strategies for expanding the types of billable FQHC providers, petitioning for change in scope of services offered, advocating for more equitable reimbursement methodologies, and more.

Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis with priority given to the first 20 submissions from each state.
